Barcelona will play Chinese Super League champions Beijing Guo'an in China's Bird Nest national stadium on August 8th, exactly two years after the opening of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

The team coach Pep Guardiola has confirmed Messi will definitely get on the pitch in Sunday's friendly.

Although the eight Barcelona players who were part of Spain's World Cup winning squad have been excused from the China tour, Guardiola said it was not just his players that had brought the Cup home to Spain.

The team will have further training sessions on Friday and Saturday before Sunday's match, which will be the second game of its Asia tour after a 5-2 victory against the South Korean K-League All Stars team on Wednesday.
