Chinese Language and Culture ProgramIntroduction
International students will study Chinese in the Training Center for Studying Chinese as the Second Language and will be taught by Chinese teachers and professors with rich experience. The study period is 0.5-2 years. And students can choose classes at different levels according to their own levels. The content of Chinese study includes daily conversations, basic idioms, etc.

The class begins in September or February/March every year. The program is about 20 weeks, or 400 class hours (45 minutes per class hour). |
For students knowing nothing about Chinese language, could learn more than 1000 words, make easy daily conversations with Chinese people and pass HSK Basic (Standard exam for testing Chinese language level) by the end of the semester. |

For students who already have more than 1000 words or have learned Chinese for more than 400 class hours, they can learn more than 2000 words, have more complete daily conversations with Chinese people, and pass HSK Elementary-Intermediate by the end of the semester. |

For students who already have more than 2000 words or have learned Chinese for more than 800 class hours, they can learn more than 3500 words, read Chinese newspaper, write essay more than 300 words and pass HSK Elementary-Intermediate by the end of the semester. |

For students who already have more than 3500 words or have learned Chinese for more than 1200 class hours, they can learn more than 5000 words, make more complete conversation in social and economic phenomena, read Chinese newspaper more quickly, write essay more than 400 words and pass HSK Elementary-Intermediate by the end of the semester. |
