Zhejiang Normal University (ZJNU), founded in Hangzhou in 1956, is one of the key universities in Zhejiang province. The main campus of ZJNU is located at the cultural historical city of Jinhua in the central part of Zhejiang Province. The city links Shanghai and Hangzhou to the north, and Guangdong and Fujian provinces to the south. The university covers a total area of more than 200 hectares. The university consists of 16 colleges offering 52 undergraduate programs, 63 postgraduate programs including MED and MPA, and MA for Part-Time Vocational Education.The university is assigned by the Ministry of Education as the Key National Training Base for Teachers of Vocational Education. In addition, it is designated by the Ministry of Railways as a base for the training of locomotive engineers.
