South China Agricultural University (SCAU) is located in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China. Covering the area of 553.1 hectares, the beautiful and peaceful campus is an ideal place for education and scientific research.
SCAU's history can traced back to 1909. After nearly a hundred year's development, SCAU grew into a multi-disciplinary, comprehensive university comprised of the disciplines of agriculture, engineering, liberal arts, basic sciences, economics, management, law, education, history and philosophy.
As a national university, South China Agricultural University offers 69 Bachelor's program, 61 Master program and 35 Ph.D. program. At present, there are about 30,000 students, including about 3,300 postgraduates, 27,000 undergraduates and 47 foreign postgraduates. This university enrolls scholarship students as well as self-funded students.
