MandarinGarden Internship in the teacher training program
This is an intensive course, delivered by English Language Company at our English school in MandarinGarden, Shanghai. It is designed to thoroughly prepare you for your teacher trainer internship and beyond. You will learn about English language teaching methodology, acquire practical classroom techniques, improve your language awareness and do teaching practice with local students. By the end of the program you should feel confident in your role as teacher trainer intern. teacher trainer practice The aim of teaching practice is for you to practise the methodology and practical techniques discussed during the course. You will become more familiar with your role as a teacher and gain confidence in the classroom. teacher trainer Course Assessment In order to successfully complete the training program you must: Attend all English teacher trainer practice Adequately prepare for teaching practice Complete and submit all assignments on time and to a satisfactory standard Demonstrate a basic understanding of English language teaching methodology Demonstrate competence in the use of basic classroom techniques Behave cooperatively and constructively with colleagues Speak only English during core hours (this is an expectation of the placement schools) Conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times Trainees who have met all of these criteria will receive their certificate and at the end of the training program are able to commence their internship. Certification The certification is the culmination of rigorous teacher trainer and practical experience. Depending on your educational and supplementary qualifications, you could go on to work your way around the world. Your Internship certificate will also be awarded to you upon successful completion of the program.
