Int’l Students Competed in the 9th HUST Cup Volleyball Match

On March. 19th, the team backed up by the international students won the first prize in the group match.


HUST Cup has been held for 9 years in a row so far, aiming at promoting physical education among the students on campus and providing a platform for the sports lovers to communicate and compete with each other. The competition was divided into two groups this year, while the former contained 10 teams and the latter contained 12. Then the top six and top four of each group will participate in the final match respectively.

On March 10th, the final group match was held among 12 teams which were divided into group A and group B. The team consisting of five international students spared no efforts, including Daniel Le, Kai Philipp Becker from Germany, twin sisters Daline Lim ,Daly Lim from France and Trizha Joy Ko from Philippines.They won the team from School of Civil Engineering by 2:0 as the first place of Group A in the morning and in the afternoon they competed with team from School of Mathematics and Statistics, the first of group B. With the joint efforts and team spirit, the team backed up by international students won the champion of the group match finally.
